Mothanna Al-Obaidi is a highly regarded calligrapher and artist born in Ramadi, Iraq. He holds a PhD in Arabic calligraphy from Dar Assalam College in Turkey (2015) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Baghdad (1995).
